Hi, My name is Samantha Merlin and I am the owner of Merlin's Magic Paws. I have always been surrounded by animals . I feel comfortable, safe and happy around them, and I am sure they feel the same way about me. I have been a pet sitter and a dog walker for 7 years. My first experience was in Vancouver where I worked with a professional and an amazing team of animals lovers. After a great summer of hikes, walks, fun and of course responsibilities, I knew that I wanted to take care of animals for the rest of my life. From 2004 to 2009, I ran my own dog walking business in San Francisco. In 2009 I became a mom of a cute little boy, named Justin and in 2011 I gave birth to my daughter Allison. During those 2 years, I concentrated my work only in boarding dogs.

In November 2011, we bought a house in Mill Valley and that's when I decided to start a new dog walking group in Mill Valley.

Just to add a little bit more, I am from Canada, Quebec city. I speak French. My husband, Olivier, and I moved to San Francisco 9 years ago. Olivier did his PhD at Berkeley. He is now working at UCSF as a medical physicist. We love Mill Valley, it has always been our little dream town. The Bay area is just wonderuful! Let's not forget our little dog, Piglet, who has been with us for the past 8 years!
